I remember when the GWCPC opened their storefront location at 1977 Commercial Drive. I recall walking past and thinking to myself who are these people, what do they do and why is their front window always broken?  

 

November 2009, I finally walked into the office simply curious about Community Policing. I left with a volunteer application in hand and a commitment to support their Saturday cleanup. 

 

I have been very fortunate to participate in countless unique opportunities I would have never imagined doing. I have met many inspirational and dedicated people that choose to give their time and energy serving the Grandview-Woodland neighbourhood.
